The Strength of a Man
Posted On 09/30/2008 19:00:25
The strength of a man isn't in the width of his shoulders. It is seen in the width of his arms that encircle you. The strength of a man isn't in the deep tone of his voice. It is in the gentle words he whispers. The strength of a man isn't how many buddies he has. It is how good a buddy he is with his kids. The strength of a man isn't how respected he is at work. It is how respected he is at home. The strength of a man isn't in how hard he hits. It is in how tender he touches The strength of a man isn't in the hair on his chest. It is in his heart that beats within his chest. The strength of a man isn't how many women he's loved. It is in his love to one woman. The strength of a man isn't in the weight he can lift. It is the burdens he can understand and overcome

a special place

I have a special place deep within my heart; it's not very big but it's the most important part... It's bright and cozy, quite warm indeed; colored with charm yet never greed. There is no anger, nor regret, nor sorrow, it's full of joy and thoughts of tomorrow. This spot I've saved so carefully to share with but a few. It's full of happy memories... the ones I keep of you. This precious place within my heart I've set aside with care; to hold on to every special moment of the friendship that we share. You are a priceless treasure just in case you didn't know... you mean so very much to me And I just had to tell you so!

Life is a theater - invite your audience carefully. Not everyone is spiritually healthy and mature enough to have a front row seat in our lives. There are some people in your life that need to be loved from a distance. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you LET GO, or at least minimize your time with draining, negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhere relationships/friendships/fellowships! Observe the relationships around you. Pay attention to: Which ones lift and which ones lean? Which ones encourage and which ones discourage? Which ones are on a path of growth uphill and which ones are going downhill? When you leave certain people, do you feel better or feel worse? Which ones always have DRAMA or don't really understand, know and appreciate you and the gift that lies within you? When you seek growth, peace of mind, love and truth, the easier it will become for you to decide who gets to sit in the FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the balcony of your life. You cannot change the people around you...but you can change the people you are around! Ask God for godly wisdom and discernment and choose wisely the people who sit in the front row of your life

The Beauty of a Black Woman
Posted On 09/17/2008 23:30:39

The Beauty of a Black Woman Is not in the clothes she wears The figure that she carries Or the way she combs her hair The Beauty of a Black Woman Must be seen in her eyes Because that is the doorway to her heart The place love resides The Beauty of a Black Woman Is not in a facial mole But true beauty in a Black Woman Is reflected in her soul It is caring that she lovingly gives The passion that she shows And the Beauty of a Black Woman With passing years---- only grows

The Key to a Woman's Heart

The Key to a Woman's Heart If you want to touch a womans heart You need only caress her cheek Or offer to her a single rose To show that feelings do run deep You could stand together and watch a rising sun In awe of the colors out on the horizon Or maybe just sit and watch the sun going down Without either of you ever even making a sound You could stroll along the Oceanside With the waves crashing onto the shore Or even the gesture of one kind word Would be more than shed ever hope for No, you needn't buy expensive gifts Or trinkets and treasure from the store To see inside a womans heart You must first BOTH look inside yours

The mentality of a man and The Heart of a Woman
Posted On 09/17/2008 23:20:00

The Mentality of a Man and The Heart of a Woman The mentality of a man has to be strong; he has to have integrity and willpower. He must somewhat put himself in the womans shoes and the woman must do the same. Love isnt a joke, it isnt a game, and men and women are equals. When two people become one by sharing they're hearts, they have to know that trust, love and friendship is on the line. They have to think of the relationship first before doing anything that would jeopardize their relationship. The heart of a woman can be fragile, when you break that trust by doing something stupid; its hard to gain that trust back. The heart of a man can be stubborn when you break his trust. Sometimes theres no turning back. Be wise and selective when choosing friends. No one has the power to make you happier than the right man or woman, or more miserable than the wrong one. Take that one to heart people

a beautiful black woman

a beautiful black woman is strong, she has a bold personality, and her style is unique. She is a queen, she is a princess. She is educated, she is blessed, she does not settle for less. A beautiful black woman is an angel, a star; she is near and never far. She is a lover; shes also a friend. She is beautiful on the outside and also within. The beautiful black woman, she walks with grace, her head held up high, and the sway in her hips as she moves from side to side. Her hair long, black and silky, her lips full and luscious. Her eyes big and brown as she gives you the look of dare. You call her stuck up, you say shes a wanna be, but she is the most beautiful thing your eyes will ever see. You approach her with your yo baby whats up line and then you wonder why she wont pay you no mind. She is the beautiful black woman, the same as your mother, respect her, like you respect your mother and like no other and you will in time discover what it means to have a real lover. The love of the black woman
