As a Store Manager in "da hood" so I get to see a lot of things that most people would not and could not imagine.  You may say hmmm what things.. well.. let's try customers using the dressing rooms as restroom and wiping their butts with the new clothing then sticking the clothes back in with the other clothing.  And trying on underwear and putting it back because it doesn't fit!!  Yes it happens.  How about customers dropping merchandise on the floor, stepping over it and moving on to another place and dropping more.  What's the first thing you say...."it's their job, that's what they get paid for!".  NOT TRUE!!

Let me give you an idea of what happens when you do what you do as a customer and think that we get paid to pick up after you.  For every employee that has to stay 30 minutes to an hour after closing picking up after you cost payroll hours, which cost you the customer an increase in the price of your clothing.  I have seen a $7.99 shirt price increase to $9.99 in two months to cover payroll hours.  Question: does it hurt anything or anyone for you to replace it where you got it from, or giving it to the sales person to replace??  What we think when you drop stuff on the floor and leave it.. "what does their homes look like?".

Here is one of the better ones... You purchase an outfit... wear it out to the club or church (anywhere) and you leave the price tag on.  The next day you take it back to the store.  It has dedorant stains, smells of your favorite perfume and if its pants and you have thick legs, you have the little ball of lint in the crotch.  The clerk tells you I can't take this back it's been worn.  You swear on a stack of bibles that it hasn't been, knowing all the time that you looked good in it last night.  And then  you have the nerve to get an attitude because you want your money back.. as if you didn't wear it.   Question:  You go find another outfit, buy it, love it and keep it... Did you know that the hooker down the street worn it, returned it, after a night of sex with Tom, Dick and Brother Bob???  How would you feel if you bought something that someone else has sweated in?? 

You as a customer complain that you do not get good customer service.  You are quick to call home office or headquarters to complain but my question is how many of you call home office or headquarters when you receive good customer service???  Most of the times you are wrong and know you are wrong but you are going to get what you want because you paid your money!!  We don't make the policies we just tell you what they are.  Take it out on the company not on the sales people... we dont make the rules .. we just follow them.!!
