A NEW MEMORY:
This memory is about my brother Willie. Willie worked at a lumber company for about 12 years. Willie and another driver deliver lumber and doors all over the VA an North Carolina area, on March seventeenth he and the other man was loading the truck for a deliver to North Carolina, It had rain the night before, so the steps were muddy from so many people going in an out that door. Willie had the back part of the door, when his foot slipped off the stapes and all the weight came down on his right leg, he felt all right , but he reported it to his supervisor and so he worked all that day. That night when he got home his hip was a little stiff, so he took a good soak in the tub, had dinner and went to bed.
The next morning he could hardly get out of bed. Willie went to the emergency room at the hospital, the doctor there examine hem and said he had pulled a muscle in hip, and wrote hem a prescription. Willie was out for two weeks, went back to work for a week and had to go back to the emergency room, the doctor said the same thing, a pulled muscle in his hip, wrote another prescription, for a muscle relaxes an pain pills. He went back to work the next day.
On May the seven he was coming down the stairs, got to the last step, put his left foot on the floor and his femur snapped (thighbone). Willie hit the floor screaming, his wife ran down the stairs and found hem laying there in so much pain, he told her that that his hip was broking, she called a ambulance an they took hem to the hospital. They took x-rays and fount out that he had broke his femur.
