NC Steppers Association Newsletter May 2008 Join the NCSA Mailing List New Day for next Beginners Class Session THURSDAYS in JUNE
If you still have not attended a Chicago-style stepping class, JUNE is your month! We will not accept any excuses. X No partner needed. X No prior dancing experience required. X No time - the class is only an hour and a half. X No friend to drag along - no worries, you will meet new friends. X No gas - the class is once a week and well worth the drive! X No extra money - this is an investment in YOU. Learn the dance, love the dance, burn calories, build stamina and build friendships....through dancing! Welcome new, old and existing students. NC Steppers Association New beginner steppers class starts on Thursday, June 5. The four class session is $35 per person. Class schedule is as follows:  June 5, 12, 19, 26 7PM - 8:30 PM Caldcleugh Multicultural Center 1200 Orchard St. Greensboro, NC 27406 June Steppers Workshops and Set Featuring Special Guest Instructor Jonathon Green of the VA Beach Steppers WORKSHOP SCHEDULE JUNE 14, 2008 - Greensboro NC Beginners/Intermediate 5 PM Intermediate II/Advanced 7 PM & nbsp; &nbs p; Location: Parlaes Bar & Grill, 1750 Tolar Dr., Greensboro, NC Each workshops is $15 per person. Pre-registration for new students is required by June 2 to ensure participation. There will be a limited number of tickets sold for each class due to the facility. Advanced purchase by June 2 recommended by groups or 6 or more. Tickets are available on Tuesdays at 7 PM at Caldcleugh Multicultural Center, 1200 Orchard St. in Greensboro. Jonathon Green of the VA Beach Steppers ALL WHITE PARTY in the GALLERIA Join the NC Steppers and friends at the Galleria for an evening of stepping in WHITE. Free admission before 10:30 PM with workshop ticket stub. If you do not attend the workshop, there are a limited number of advanced ticket available for $20. For workshop tickets, call 336-499-2042. For party tickets, call 336-442-7795. Stepping groups are encouraged to contact NC Steppers ASAP to secure workshop tickets and/or party tickets by June 1st. To be eligible, complete 4 or more classes and attend one workshop. NC Steppers Association is a membership organization that meets throughout the year. NCSA fosters the development of the Stepping culture in North Carolina by providing Chicago-style Stepping instruction, for Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced students. NCSA regularly supports dance, practice and performance opportunities while promoting peace and harmony within the greater Stepping community. MEMBER NEWS The June NCSA members meeting with be held Sunday, June 22 from 4 to 5 PM. If you are interested in joining NCSA, please plan to attend this meeting. The May and June birthday celebration will take place at the 4th Sunday, June 22 Set and Dance 5-8pm (immediately following the NCSA meeting). Congratulations members, Antoine Lilly, Linwood Morris and Tameaka Womack and students Evan Chisholm and Candi Jeter on their recent graduation from college. If you graduated in May or will graduate in June, and you are a student or member, please let us know. Special thanks to all of those who volunteer their time and dancing talent to the development of our students.
