Subject: Study Shows 48% black female teens have STDs
Content: The Centers for Disease Control released nationwide study that stated one in four teenage girls had a sexually transmitted disease. The most common sexually transmitted infection in teen girls aged 14 to 19 is the human papilloma virus . The highest overall percentage is among black girls. About half of the black teenage girls (48%) studied had at least one STD, compared to 20 percent among whites and Mexican-American teen. This mean that one out of every two African American girls ages 14-19 has an STD.
